Heritage buildings

Dubiński joinery Studio has been honoured by taking part in many realisations rescuing mansions and palaces from oblivion. We are particularly proud of our work in two objects:

1. Railway Station in Malbork

2. Mansion in Lviv

Railway Station in Malbork
The building dating back to the 19th century, regained its former glory after twenty one months of extensive renovation work. During the official opening of the building, PKP Vice-President stated: “the station is a gem of railway architecture in Europe.”
The renovation included the facade and the interior of the station. Historical elements such as bullet holes from World War II were preserved. Everything was refined to the smallest detail: old coats of arms, polychromes, wooden beams and columns were renovated. Decorations and gildings were also reconstructed.
The restorer paid special attention to the restoration and reconstruction process of historical double windows and doors. At his instruction, the repair and restoration process aimed to preserve the original fabric of the woodwork to the maximum extent. These works made use of special modern nanotechnology products to ensure their exceptional durability and retain their character.
The station regained its former glory; we are proud to know that our skills in restoration of all windows, doors and wooden fittings of the interior contributed to its present appearance and splendour.

Mansion in Lviv
A beautiful historic mansion in Lviv was one of the buildings we had the honour to revitalise. We found this 19th century building sadly derelict. The basement was in the worst condition: walls and ceilings were completely damp and destroyed. The condition of the building’s interior was only slightly better.
We contributed to the renovation by replacing all interior doors and stairs. We are proud of our involvement in preserving the legacy of Lviv culture and architecture. As the only one of many contractors we received a thank you note and a letter of recommendation concerning the quality of the work performed and our reliability and timeliness.
